There is no other setting that can afford you such charming and
unique surroundings. Having your wedding here will not only
excite you, but will provide your guests with an unbelievable
experience. The grounds of the Plantation are the perfect setting,
with endless rows of Camelia Sinensis tea plants and
huge, incomparable Oak Trees.
You can choose to have your ceremony under the draping branches
of the Plantation's oldest Live Oak, known as the "wedding
tree" or in a more open location, surrounded by acres and
acres of breathtaking tea plants. The Plantation is such a
naturally beautiful setting. Every aspect of the grounds will
lend to the beauty of your wedding day. Even the entrance to
the Plantation is unbelievably enchanting with its draping Oaks
forming an almost perfect archway welcoming your guests.
Our Pavilion, located in the tranquil tea fields, makes for a
picturesque reception location. From this spot, your guests
will enjoy the excitement of your wedding reception as they
soak in the charm and beauty of their unique
surroundings. The Pavilion sits in one of the most
accessible areas on the grounds and has overhead lighting and
ceiling fans to help create a breeze on those warm summer days.
The front porch to our Plantation Gift Shoppe can be
staged to either make the perfect setting for a cocktail hour or
greeting location for your arriving guests. Or, if you are
having a smaller wedding, the front porch could also be
the ideal location to host your entire reception. The
Live Oaks surrounding this space are shady and
inviting providing plenty of ideal
and picturesque places for additional tables and seating.
The Trolleys are also available for shuttling your guests around
the Plantation. This will provide your guests safe
transportation to your wedding venue of choice, while also allowing
them the unique and entertaining experience of touring more of our
scenic 127 acre grounds. The Trolleys could also be used to
transport the bride and her bridal party to the wedding location,
providing for a grand entrance to the big event.
